TOA: Short Stories of Anise and Sync

So, a long time ago I bought the TOA Character Episode Bible, which includes a short story for each major character. Since they're pretty awesome and give some extra background for the characters, I decided to translate a few.

I'm hoping they didn't end up retaining any Engrishy-sounding parts, but... here they are!

I think it's extremely badass that you translated these. They read pretty well, actually! At least, I didn't notice any Engrish, so yes. *_* I like learning a little more about what everyone was doing before the game started, so thanks so much for doing this and sharing the translations! ♥ ♥ ♥

As for the Guy story, I'd be interested in reading that myself, but I'm not sure how to go about digging that up. Maybe share these with the ToA comm and ask if anyone remembers where it is? Someone's bound to have it saved under their memories or something.

Thank you! ♥ I'm glad you liked them!

Hmm, that's a pretty good idea. I wanted to wait until I got feedback from friends before sharing it with everyone, just in case there were some errors that needed fixing, but I think I'll post it there in the next day or so.

Holy sweet, I really like Sync's. I see what you mean about worrying about Engrish-yness, but I think you did a relatively good job, while staying very true to the text. ♥

Is there one for everyone?

Thanks! Haha yeah, it can be hard to keep it accurate without sacrificing grammar.

Pretty much! There's one for each playable character, each God General, and for Ion and Van. So... 13 in total, I think!

The Enrishy parts aren't bad at all. It's really awesome that you had the patience to slog through entire walls of text. Guidebooks and stuff like that usually don't get translated by fans because of all the work involved, so it's cool that you've done this much! Thank you!

Shouldn't it be "...lay the slums", though?

It was my pleasure! ♥ Yeah, I don't see a lot of fan translations for these kinds of things (and the ones I do see tend to be very rough translations), but the stories were so interesting that I just really wanted to share them with people.

--Ahh, you're right! Lay/lie/laid have always been confusing for me. XD; Thank you, I'll change that! ♥
