the meaning i was thinking of
So...I haven't (really) updated in forever. Thrilling.
My Christmas was quiet. I spent the day with Chris and his parents. I got some good gifts, but sadly, no (real) puppies. Only fake puppies, but they were still cute. And barked. I talked to my parents on the phone.
Right now, it's New Years Eve. I worked. Jen and Brian are here. We're going to go to a party at Nick and Dan's (friends of Chris's) for a little while but may not stay for too long. None of us are feeling that well and Nick and Dan mostly just get drunk at all possible occassions; tonight will prove no different.
In a couple of days, Jen's showing back up and we're going to Montreal for the weekend! Joy! Actually, though, I really am looking forward to it. I love travelling, even if it really stresses me out and breaks out my skin a bunch. I've never been to Montreal and I'm just so excited to see a new place and go somewhere else and not work for a few days. Montreal sounds like a neat city.
I bought some new clothes with the money mom gave me for Christmas. I'm also pretty happy with that-very little of my clothing fits correctly anymore and what does fit is mostly old and falling apart. Yay me! It's also nice enough that I could wear some of it to job interviews (I got a totally sweet semi-casual blazer).
