I'm more or less indifferent to the idea of God. I respect people's belief or need to believe in a God to get through their lives, but I'm not much for religion in general. I used to like going to youth groups and the like, though, just to see people's rigorous amounts of faith. I went to a primarily black church, as well, once, and had a lot of fun just being caught up in the moment. But over all, I don't really believe in one. Should their happen to be one, then so be it, but I'm happy living my life without taking Him into account.
I do believe in love. When you meet someone that you connect with on most levels, and causes them to be close to you, that's love. Love can be sexual, but primarily I find a lot of love in just friendships. They're the people you care about and don't mind sharing your views with, which they often share as well.
I like Life? There isn't much point to it other than what society has put out for us, the capability to survive, and often survival just means success - getting wealthy, living comfortably, all that. I don't believe in Life After Death, primarily because I'm a biologist over a believer, but if there happens to be then- there it is, then.
The point of it all, to me, is just appreciate the years you have set out before you and to enjoy yourself while you can.
And... I don't know what to ask you, but uh. Feel free to unscreen this. XD;
It's fun seeing people so caught up in believing something beyond them, yeah. I like how positive they are.
You don't find it boring at all? Thousands of years of the same old, be successful, find husband/wife/partner make babies/grow old together?
I agree, we get one chance to live so might as well enjoy ourselves. 8) Any thoughts on why people try so hard though, when it's really as simple as that?
I don't find it boring just because I'm not living all those other lives, you know? This is my own life, my own experiences, my own ways to go about things. Even if someone has gone about the same exact way as I have, it's still my own, and not someone else's, you know? I can't be bored with something I haven't fully experienced before.
I don't know. People get caught up in the whole success side of things that they're unable to focus on themselves and their inner needs, I think. But, I'm the kind of person who doesn't understand why people get randomly depressed at such little things, so I'm not really the kind of person who's able to observe that sort of thing. Or maybe they're suddenly in the mindset that they aren't going to be successful, they aren't going to find a love, so they give up? :|
I FIGURED OUT A QUESTION, THOUGH. If you were to get a tattoo that symbolized yourself in one design, what would it be?
