[ oh god it's time for bed ]
There are two auctions for a certain tarot deck on ebay going for 30$ or so, including shipping. This deck normally sells for $100-200$, since it went out of print in 1995 or thereabouts.

You know, I'm not even a real fan of the series it's from, but it's just like.. goddamn, what kind of an investment would that make? Could you imagine if the company went out of business? Or in another 10 years, the cards just became impossible to find? It's the pack-rat/collector thing that I got from dad, the fucker, and I know that. He had boxes and boxes of comics he never read, or was never even a big fan of, but they were worth something, so he held onto them.
Someone else is bound to notice these decks and snatch one, if not both of them, up. I'm kind of counting on it actually. It's stupid to buy something just because it maybe might be worth something later. And yet.. so tempting!
It seems unfair that I got all of the bad genes/characteristics from both parents. Good thing life's not fair, or I'd have to worry about not having any kind of warranty on myself.
