Yeah, I get easily distracted, I saw something shiny on the cycle ride home from work, I stopped, turned round, cycled the fifty yards to where it was, just to see it…it was a penny.

Nearly 10 weeks in and the million penny project has brought One thousand Nine Hundred and One pennies in from the cold, given them a hot cup of tea and some biscuits. MPPHQ has crunched the numbers and found that we’re rescuing nearly 29 pennies a day.

So this week we past into yet another pound as today I got the twelve hundredth penny! £12 kids. It’s gone unreported for a while now but it shouldn’t have but we’ve also received a donation of one penny from a very kind Australian who neglected to write who they were…:(
