Turnaround
Gotta admit. Things at the start of the month were looking a little bleak. I had a bunch of problems to solve and no way to solve them.
And then what did they do? They up and solved themselves. Everything's pretty much done and gone now.
I mean, yeah, I need to step my writing back up again, but all things considered, things could be a lot worse. But the move is in a few days. My best friend's wedding is after that.
I have discovered that asking girls out is a lot easier than I thought it was.
And man. Life is just good. It really and truly is better than I know how to stand it. I sleep well, I train well, I have energy that I don't know what to do with. I do my job well, and when I do it poorly, I am genuinely distressed at my performance.
Shame they'll be letting me go after November.
But there'll be time enough for that later. I think the quote sums it up best: having the best life isn't about having the best stuff - it's about making the best of what you have.
