burning questions that NEED to be asked re: CSI:Miami

*watching CSI:Miami*
Sister: She's Eric's sister?! The sister with cancer?!
Me: Uh-huh.
Sister: Then why doesn't she look like him?
Me: More importantly, why does she still have hair when she's undergoing chemotherapy?
*silence*

Since watching CSI: Miami this week in AXN-Asia, I have been itching to ask some questions that I think are important to me. Please forgive me since I know very little about different cancers, other than they're bad, they're composed of cells, and other things like that. Stuff like chemotherapy and other pain-relieving medicines are nothing I know about. So I need to ask some things about Marisole, Eric's sister who has cancer (of what, I have no idea...I think Eric doesn't know too):

1. Marisole's buying marijuana to keep the pain from the chemotherapy and other side effects from treatments away. With so much pain where she's forced to buy illegal drugs, can she still wear those three-inch shoes?
2. The popular concept I know is that a side-effect of chemotherapy is that hair falls off. From what I read, it's true. Soo~ does Marisole's hair look like a wig?
3. Horacio, I know you're getting frustrated because your two possible love interests just left but...considering that the lab is under surveillance because of both Eric and Marisole, is it even wise to accept the dinner invitation?
4. "I can make a mean..." Anyone else think that's such a cliche line? (Although I thought it was pretty cute of Marisole to use it, which can be read as she's nervous in asking him out so she's resorting to stuff like that.)
5. The biggest question of all: Does anyone else think the blond girl (whose name I only remember when I'm actually watching the show) is just a li~ttle too smug? Always?

I tried asking these questions while watching the show, but my family has finally resorted to throwing unpopped popcorn kernels at me when I do.
