I think I've been trying to write this post for a month and a half now.
I am exhausted. I've been to three field works this year, and we're still halfway through the year. After 1 month in San Juan, Batangas, I came back in May then flew to Mindanao. I thought I deserved a vacation, but I think I was wrong. I needed to read. I realized I have so many things to say online but never really tried to write them down.
June has come and I've enrolled for my thesis writing, which I am half-convinced is going to be terrible. My thesis adviser is someone who's more hands-on, which is good, but I'm also terrified. I've worked with her before, and it's a long time, but this is different. Can you feel my drama yet? *lol* Also, I almost didn't enroll because of money problems and I hate hate hate borrowing money from my sister.
We have a dog! Well, our uncle has a dog, and we're taking care of him for one month until my sister can bring him to Mindanao. He's sweet and excited, and he's very much afraid of our cats. They're all afraid of him, except for our cat Mimi. She makes him cower.
I signed up for art in spn_j2_bigbang, and the 2 stories I'm doing art for are amazing. And so very different from each other. I've been working on that.
But I also signed up for lupin_snape's Remix exchange. I went all sorts of FAIL in my submission, starting from the lateness and ending with the usual gut-wrenching "I hope I did this right!" feeling. Because the one I remixed is...kind of awesome. And kind of intimidating. -_- I need hand-holding once posts are up...in a few hours! XD
And femgenficathon is...coming along. Almost there. I have the outline done. It'll be short. But I hope it packs enough punch.
After SPN/J2 Bigbang and Lupin/Snape Remix, though, I likely won't be signing up anywhere for a while. I need to get re-acquainted with a particular region and time's pottery. I haven't been posting the past few weeks, but I've been lurking.
