So life has been kind of strange as of recent. I have been without a job for a little over 3 weeks now, and PACE is taking its sweet damn time helping me get a job. In the mix of it I applied at other places, only getting denied. So...finally PACE gives me an offer...in friggin REDMOND. So, seeing that I really cannot hang like this any longer, I am going to bite the bullet and take the gig. The catch; the job is the Eastside Group Health that is closed down. So basically this job is at least 4-5 weeks long, but its something to tide me over until something more stable comes around. Applying for Madison Market a second time, in hopes that something in walking-distance will come up roses, plus my friend Courtney works there and is willing to let me put her as a reference. (Plus, BENEFITS after 3 months!)
Music is music for now. Still finalizing some stuff while braving more programming. It gets a lot more interesting, even with what little I know. Will have Amphetamin Virus pitch in on some more stuff that we think will be fun. (Hint: Its a cover, but its gonna be neat.) Kat is going to come over tomorrow and we will jam some stuff, plus make plans for another possible member. Should deem interesting.
Some personal crap exploded recently. It sucked. That is all.
A strange thing happened today, which leads to a good deed for the day. I was on my way to Holy Smoke, when on 20th and Denny I see this 70 year old lady sitting in the grass with one shoe missing. She seemed a little spaced out, so I asked if she was okay, and she said that she fell, but was fine. I offered to help her up, but she said no, but it would be nice if I called 911. So upon calling 911, she told me she refuses to ride in an ambulance over and over again, plus about her family and her name. She had quite the penchant to re-iterate herself, so I kept her talking and hung around till the ambulance did show up. Thank goodness. Poor lady didn't want anyone's help, but the medics did a fine job and got her home. I'm glad I was there to help, but it seemed kind of odd. No matter, I'm just glad the service was swift and God willing she is okay.
Recently, I have been getting some more DJ spots my night is officially every 3rd Wednesday of the month, plus I have a Nerdcore night that I am DJing this Thursday at the Mercury, which should be a lot of fun. Not really into the style, but I loves me some MC Chris. Hahaha. Plus, I am also official photographer for HARSH NW/ THREAT, so I had a blast taking photos for various shows in Seattle and Portland, with such acts as The H8TERS, Hecate, Statas, Amphetamine Virus, Vankmen, In The Age Of Terminal Static, and so on.
Speaking of photography, I will be doing some more modeling, so that's more money for me. I just got to wait for my photographer to get back into town. So all is good.
Well, back to the grind I go. It sure has been a while.
