A list of organizations you're likely to run into in game. Each has a little summary, what they're up to, and some of their known associates. Did I miss any? Give me a blurb and I'll add them! A point of player contact is given for each if you have questions about that organization and/or would like a character to join it.
American Watcher's Council-
Who they are: The local chapter of the Watcher's Council, they have their own potentials and have been known to actively try to potential poach from other organizations.
What they're up to: Currently, Hunter Blackmoon of the American Watcher's Council has offered to work with the OSI, along with his potential Faith Lehane.

Who they are: A vampire biker gang.
What they're up to: Currently stirring up trouble in the Sunnydale area

British Watcher's Council
Who they are: British people. In Britain, not known to usually operate in America; occasionally operates in other areas of Europe. They leave that to the American Watcher's Council.
What they're up to: Currently, nothing game affecting. This may change in the very near future.

COSMO:
Who they are: Committee for the Observation of Supernatural and Mystical Occurrences, a secret government agency that is poorly funded and in somewhat direct competition with the OSI. COSMO is considered by many to be obsolete, and the government has considered phasing them out a time or two. Recently, however, they have been making some developments that might get them a reprieve from obsolescence. They are a lot more underhanded than OSI, and tend to operate much more covertly and with darker purpose.
What they're up to: Currently working on researching several serums, creation or modification of creatures, and trying to discredit the OSI so they get a better budget.

Who they are: Vampires under the employ of Master V who work at his bite club.
What they're up to: Business as usual, taking money from customers who want a good time at the end of a pair of pointies.

Who they are: A coven of witches operating out of the Sunset Club lead by Michael Czajak.
What they're up to: Currently, trying to recruit more members to make up for members lost last year.

OSI:
Who they are: Office of Subterranean Information, a well-funded secret government agency that investigates and controls the Hostile Sub-Terrestrial (supernatural) threat and keeps the public safe (and usually, uninformed). There are four main divisions of the OSI - Command (leaders) , Research (researchers), Servator ( watchers), Initiative (soldiers). The OSI has control over the two known active Slayers, Anna Caruso and India Cohen, as well as many potentials. It is a powerful and growing agency with operations all over the country - one of the largest of which is in the Sunnydale area where they are actively investigating the Hellmouth and keeping the HST threat in the area under some semblance of control.
What they're up to: The Sunnydale OSI is currently focusing a lot of their efforts on the Academy, teaching those young folks with aptitude for fighting the supernatural threat. They also patrol the Hellmouth area regularly to keep the HST population low and under control. They are actively studying the Hellmouth. They are also working on a program to implant behavioral modification chips into HSTs in an attempt to rehabilitate some of them. This program is in its infancy.

The Spontaneous Neck Ruptures:
Who they are: A local band of dubious musical talent. The Spontaneous Neck Ruptures play an eclectic goth metal set with cheer and enthusiasm, despite the fact that their act is seldom met with equal enthusiasm by audiences. Some of their mainstays include 'Cut Yourself Until You Stop Crying', 'Tentacles Aren't Just For Eating', 'Sometimes Rats Eat Babies', and their lead track, 'Headless Whore's Men.'
What they're up to: Playing local shows, and practicing to try and improve for a summer tour.

Who they are: A religious commune living outside of Sunnydale that dresses in old-fashioned clothes and grows fruits and vegetables to sell at their local farmer's market.

Who they are: An evil law firm with demonic affiliations. The Senior Partners are powerful and likely demonic in nature. There are offices all over the country, and the LA branch has just sent some of their personnel to the Sunnydale area to establish a branch.
What they're up to: Currently, their plans are largely unknown, though they seem to be trying to poke into various area affairs. They are likely also still investigating the death of one of their own that occurred last year at the hands of some Sunnydale residents.

Who they are: A 'superhero' team formed by Gwen to help fight crime (supernatural and non) in Sunnydale, including the Troika.
What they're up to: Currently, they have a secret lair in the back of a storefront (Samus's Game Club), where their winged demon monkey Han Simian lives. They have built quite a few projects, including a robo-girl. They occasionally lend a hand where needed - and sometimes, just hang out.
