greed was good; now it just IS

I'm always surprised when I misspell livejournal that there ISN'T a liejournal.com. You think it would be a great gossip URL.

Anyway, there are some items of clothing that I am DYING for right now and can't find anywhere, so I am going to write it down here just in case anyone every stumbles across them :)

1: Express Basic V-neck 3/4-length sleeve shirts. The torso's extra long and it's the only shirt I own that fits me perfectly and honestly makes me look like I've lost ten lbs. I have one in pink, and I'm really pissed at myself that I didn't buy every single color while they still had them in stock. I thought that it was something they would always carry, like Arizona polos at JC Penney. I thought wrong, and I'm upset about it.
2: The perfect boot. Weathered brown, knee-high, riding-style with the fold at the knee and the buckles at the knee and ankle with a stacked heel that slims to a wedge point. Very nice. There are hundreds of these out there, but they're always $200+ and don''t come in wide widths. I MUST FIND A CHEAP KNOCKOFF PAIR IMMEDIATELY!!
3: Flannel. More importantly, a FLATTERING large-print gingham flannel. Preferably black and red....logger style. Gotta rep Seattle grunge.
4: A huge, puffy fur coat. Not sheared; I'm talking the three-inch long hair that waves in the wind. Like the black one Heidi Klum was wearing in the best-dressed pages with a sequin dress. Or the one Tyler Durden wears in the big reveal hotel scene. Or the purple one in the Prada sunglasses advertisement. Ya dig? Just a huge, furry, seventies puffball jacket. Full-length sleeves and faux fur, of course.
5: An oversized shirt. Slouchy and versatile and flattering, yay!

And there you have it, American consumerism at its best!
