day 26 - a song that you can play on an instrument
So let me preface this by saying, I AM NOT MUSICALLY INCLINED. Probably more through lack of exposure and instruction than natural lack of ability. I took violin lessons for like 2 seconds when I was 9, but I'm pretty sure I was more interested in running around wild after school than I ever was in practicing.
BUT. I can play Kansas' Carry On Wayward Son on Guitar (Hero or Rock Band). Does that count? ^_~ I mean, I can actually play a lot of other songs on GH or RB too, but THIS SONG was the one that caused me to buy GH2 in the first place -- I love this song SO MUCH; it was my first cell ringtone for the longest time.... way back in the times of monophonic ringtones. That one is still my favorite ringtone-- I wish I could find it again. T_T
There is just nothing in the world like Southern Rock.
It bugs the hell out of me, though, when people call it "Carry On MY Wayward Son". (Even if I realize it's really NBD. STILL.)
Fave lines: masquerading as a man with a reason / my charade is the event of the season / and if I claim to be a wise man / it surely means that I don't know
