[The buffet is ... interesting, and mouth-watering and wholly unlike any feeding ground Joey has ever seen, but it doesn't have raw fish. It's been two days, she's found human-type clothing (currently, she's sporting an inside-out and backwards tee that goes down to her knees) and she's collected the courage to go foraging again.

... And foraging led her to the doorway to Kuma-Ko. Where. BEARS.

She huddles nearby the frame, gaping inside at the huge land animals. She's never seen nor heard of bears before and holy mother of god do they look intimidating.

Joey crouches there for ten minutes, head a whirl of indecisiveness -- should she go in? Try to talk to them? Is she not supposed to be there? -- before remembering the 'magic rock' or cell phone or whatever Marco called it. There are people talking inside it a lot, right?]

Umm. There are really, really big furry brown... animals on the ... [which, which] -- eighth deck?

Are they mean? Or hungry? Or. Am I doing this ri [Kzzzt.]

what!, what is bear, nooooo, o m g, technologically deficient
