She walked out of the heavy metal doors and made her way down the steps to the bench. As was her custom, she sat down, pulled out her MP3 Player, and jammed away while waiting for her ride. She usually listened to Ryan Cabrera as the first song in her lineup. She laid back against the bench and slumped down as she let the music slowly take her away to a happier place.
She softly lip synced to the music, listening to everyword with pure bliss. She loved the sound of his voice and his music always seemed to calm her down when she was having trouble. She shifted slightly as the sun beat down on her dark clothing and started to make her sweat. The heat was almost unbearable during the summer, but that was the price it took to keep up her appearances. She did not have a great deal of friends, but those that she did have she kept close.
Her name was Airiel. Her mother had given her the name when she was stoned, or so she liked the tell everybody. She thought it added humor to any situation. People did not know a great deal about her, but those that did knew that she was dependable and very trustworthy. She had a heart as big as all outdoors, but she kept it hidden under the dark clothing and makeup. She had been hurt horribly once before and she changed herself to keep from having to experience the pain of love once again.
So there she sat on the bench in front of her highschool. She song slowly came to an end and a soft tear rolled down her cheek. She was remembering days when she smiled, days when she was so much happier than she was now. She had friends, but that wasn't what she needed and she knew it. She missed being in real love, she missed having someone to hold tight and cuddle with on mornings when the rain was pouring down outside. She had always dreamed that one day a guy would come into her life that would just totally knock her off her feet. She wished that guy would come now and rescue her from the life she was living now. She sighed softly and turned as she heard the horn of a car honk, it was her ride. She picked up her bag, threw her hair back behind her and made her way to the vehicle. It was just another typical day in her life.
So tell me what ya think. This is based off of a pretty good friend of mine from a online game I used to play. She likes it, how bout you?
