a quite interesting look at a question "why should a state prosecute ADULT related people from having sex?"

i am quite interested in the intellectual side of this debate mostly because it is one of tha slippery slope arguments for accepting normalcy of homosexuality

but to be completely honest - yes, logically i do not see a reason to prosecude adult ( Read more... )

The only valid argument against incest is that a child born from such a relationship is at greater risk of genetic disorders. Of course, these risks are easily avoidable, without legal ban on incest.

yep. in the article they talk about cases when people had vasectomies, but were still prosecuted.

ok i read it now. my answer still stands. laws are written because they work 'in general'. Saying that incest is ok if people use condoms /have vasectomy is stupid. Laws / taboos are made to work in most cases. Just like a speed limit on a highway doesn't depend on how good a driver is or how advanced his car.

He seems to miss that point - listing examples of no-baby sex acts that should not be forbidden.

i disagree

saying THAT is stupid
there are no LAWS IN GENERAL. thats why we investigate crimes. and not say "murder = death sentence irrespective of circumstances"
