All these posts about writer's strike and picketing and whatnot are making me sick. I want to vomit with the thought of not seeing my Office people for a loooong time. Can't they just get along and let me watch my shows and being anti-social and weird?
In other news, as much as I know that I shouldn't get sucked into a new, shiny show because of the Strike of Doom, I started watching Ugly Betty. In fact, I finished all the episodes to date. HOW COULD I MISS THIS SHOW? OMG YOU GUYS, it's so spazzy, quirky, weirdly touching, absolutely adorable (HENRYHENRYHENRY, hello my new tv boyfriend!) and so freaking hilarious (not the Office hilarious but in a over-the-top, crazy way, which is AWESOME). Oh, and I love Henry. No, I adore Henry. I want him in my life but I sadly remember that he's fictional. From what I learned, the original spanish version ended with Daniel and Betty together. I COULDN'T PROCESS THIS INFO WHEN I FIRST READ IT. It's so freaking weird to think of them in that way. Hope that's not going to happen in this version but I have bad feelings :( Anyways, as long as they keep my sweet, geeky, it'sjustsomethingiknow Henry, I will be happy! It's this complete and utter bliss I'm feeling when I discover a new, awesome show and characters to geek out. This show also brings back flasbacks of my telenovela and bad soap opera loving past. I watched basically the every single incredibly bad soap opera mostly starring Thalia or Natalia Oreiro and other lationa psuedo-stars. It was a dark time you guys, but I ended up learning a lot from them. Like how amnesia is a bad plot device and unborn baby death by falling down stairs is the lamest tragic ending evah.
Oh, and today some teacher complimented me for my english because of an essay I wrote about- wait for it- The Office. It was actually not an essay but a blatant LOVE LETTER. I even waxed poetic about Michael. I would be embarrased if I wasn't such a shameless, little brat.
henry the super accountant,
the office come back!,
