I totally know what you mean. I was so uncomfortable the first few months after I moved because all I had was my brother's computer. I tried living with just Meebo and Trillian, but then I had to download AIM, and then I had to have my Firefox plugins and sldf;j yeah it's just really hard to get settled into a computer you're not used to. I think it's mostly like that for people who spend a ton of time on them; it becomes sort of your home, and so switching ends up just as weird as moving house or going on vacation. @_@ [/ramble]

Exactly D: It doesn't matter where I'm using the computer, as long as it's my computer I feel at okay and stuff. I've downloaded Adium on here and this computer used to be the one I used, but ... it just ain't the same and I don't feel comfortable.

I totally feel the same way. I stayed up to about 4am on Christmas day putting everything onto my new computer and making sure I felt 'comfy' on it.

I know that feeling! I had a hard time doing anything on my current computer until I'd migrated all my files and got everything all set up. It just doesn't feel right.
