Hello, everyone! *waves meekly* After not posting anything for a long while, I don't know quite where to start! RL has been rather busy lately, but entertainment stuff is far more interesting and fun to discuss, so I think I'll just dive in with shows/movies talk for now. :)

Yeah, I think Lagaan is likely going to be the most memorable for me and the one I'd most likely re-watch out of those three.
I had to look up the whole Radha Krishna thing after watching Lagaan to find out what was so epic and symbolic that Elizabeth had to spend the rest of her life pining for Bhavan. I just want all the "good" characters in my Bollywood movies to be happily paired off at the end, lol!
Hrithik is a much better actor than I gave him credit for when I first started watching BW (I saw him first in K3G and then Mujhse Dosti Karoge)--he was really impressive in Jodhaa Akbar. And the Hrithik-Aishwarya jodi sizzles on screen; they're too pretty together! ♥
I can see what you mean about Swades because I did think it dragged a bit until the end. I think what I liked about it though was that the two romantic leads acted like actual adults who each had their own lives that were important to them (outside of their love for each other). I liked their whole 'doing something to help the whole world vs. improving the lives of at least a few' debate. I remember thinking that if SRK's character didn't return to America and didn't at least finish his project with NASA, I'd hate the whole film. And I think that's why I respected Gayatri's character as well--educating her village mattered so much to her that even love couldn't derail her.
