i know i owe a lot of emails. i read everything you send i just haven't had the words to respond.
watched 'dancing with the stars' live or on tape. as much as i adore joey i knew apolo would win. brianna is adorable and so is lance.
all is well. keeping busy. took a little loan and i'm catching up on gifts and things. qaf s2 on vhs for me, some essential items from victoria's for the kid, vacuum cleaner for dh. your name might be next on the list!
has this ever happened to you? last year i went to the boss and asked for a raise after 1 year of faithful service. not only did he give me the raise but he told me to revisit this issue again in january not next june. my heart was thawing. so i went to him at the beginning of february and he doesn't remember any of the previous conversation. come back in july. added to the injury, he hired a tall, young giggly blond a while back and she is the apple of his eye. right after she wanders in late in the morning, the middle-aged goat can be heard regaling with her with his accomplishments. she hasn't got a clue. i'll be taking some courses over the summer. my resume needs to be updated.
last saturday i went into a store and was reaching for a cart as the woman at the counter took her last item out. omg. it was an old friend. she looks old!we met at work and got pregnant at the same time. the girls were born 2 weeks apart. we lost touch when the girls went to high school. waved in passing the last couple of years. daughter is graduating college in the fall, etc. oldest son perished in world trade center. i can't stop thinking about it. he's the only victim that i knew personally. puts a new spin on things for me this week.
