I sound like a frog, or a man, or a frog-man...something like that. That cold I had last weekend started going away and it was replaced with a lovely case of laryngitis. I really don't sound human. I'm drinking hot tea, cold orange juice, tons of Halls...nothing is helping much. The hot tea was the most effective though.
The new job! I worked Wednesday and Thursday - it went pretty well. I'm happy to be working in a school again, and the two teachers I'm assisting seem very friendly (although I much prefer one over the other). I get some freedom in choosing how I want to grade students' work - I will fail them all! *insert evil cackle*
Seriously - my goal is to be a guidance counselor and this job is just going to give me that much more experience working in the education field. My hours are 9-3, Monday-Thursday; I don't think you can beat that. Still, it is a little weird having to tell people my age what to do - some of these folks probably think I'm a student myself. That could come in handy... ;)
