One more political commentary

I think its completely ridiculous that such individual personal issues get magnified to represent an entire party. I'm not referring to this as a partisan issue, as both sides are totally guilty of it. The best examples are these...

I think it perfectly acceptable to fault Mark Foley for his conduct, and anyone else who knew about it and did nothing. This event however, does not in any way reflect on the other republicans who did not know about it or the party at large.

It is perfectly acceptable to call Kerry an idiot and demand an apology when he either slipped up or intentionally said something reallllyyy stupid. However that does not in anyway and should not in any way reflect on anyone but him.

What one person does or says should not be associated with the party in cases like these. Last time i checked, it wasn't Republican party policy to sexually harass pages, nor is it Democrat party policy to degrade the troops fighting in Iraq.

Associate the faults of individuals with the those responsible and only those responsible.
