It feels as if he was born just yesterday, only 48 cm (about 19") and only 6 lb ...  It seems that even watching him carefully, I still have not noticed when and how he became a man ...

The wedding of Sasha and Laraine was absolutely wonderful! It was very personal, sincere, fun, relaxing, romantic, and fully enjoyable experience. We tried to combined Russian and American  wedding traditions. My son Alexander proposed to his Love, Laraine --  VIVAT !!! :))) Their wedding ceremony will be held in four months. I am so happy, and even crazy, about the whole thing! You can see it in this haiga, haha :)))  Your poems for the newlywed are very welcome! :)

My son Alexander, who is a professional flutist living in Arizona, will be featured as a soloist on the radio program on Sunday, March 25, at 3:00 pm EST (New York time). He was just informed by the director of the  KBAQ radio station that  his CD "From My Homeland" will be the CD of the week this week (starting Sunday, March 25, at noon, through ( Read more... )

The next year after transferring from the Ural Conservatory to the University of Cincinnati, Sasha won a national flute competition for young artists. He was invited to play a concert with the New Mexico Symphony as a soloist. I go to Albuquerque with him. We stay in the house of one the orchestra members, Rhonda, and her family.
