I'M BACK!!!
Woah, I haven't been on livejournal for *checks previous entry* OVER A MONTH!!!! This is what the world's education system is reducing me to!!! Arrghh!!! Just kidding, the actual reason is that I had exams on, and considering that they are worth roughly 50% of my life (or they do next year, anyway,) I thought I'd better pull up my socks and put in some quality study time. Which is why I disappeared for so long, but taking into account my whopping 10-person friends list, it's probably a safe bet to say I wasn't missed ^^
I was supposed to have finished school last week, but the sad, sad truth is that my tutoring program runs 10 weeks, so after this weekend I've still got another weekend of g&t and chem tutoring to go. I don't really mind, it stops that little voice from creeping inside my head and screeching, "It's the holidays and you're resting?!?!" I mean, god, what else do you do with your spare time besides study? O-O Other than that, I've been spending the past week helping my Chem teacher with this new Carbon course he's trialling. He asked for some volunteers, and out of the 71 odd students that do chemistry, a grand total of FIVE showed up (although I guess you could give a bit of a leeway for students in other classed who didn't know the course was running.) Basically, it's just a lot of time-wasting, with some improvised Pictionary in between and occasionally, some work. But we have actually finished most of the course and now we're just going out of our way to make sure the biodiesel-making part of the course is actually correct. ^^ It's quite fun and keeps me out of trouble, so I'm happy :D
After all the hype about Twilight, and all the organising, and all the stress that the tickets would be sold out before we could get there, we find out that 21st of November is the release date for America, not Australia. Oh, the perpetual 'woe is me's' that plague my mind xD Actually, I don't really mind all that much, it's just that my friends are all jetting off to various non-Australia destinations (lucky buggers) and I wanted to see it with them before they go, but I can always wait a month or so until they come back; hopefully Twilight will still be in theaters by then. ^^
Well, after all that...nothing. Yup, I have zilch to post up today: no song translations, no microfictions, no short-stories, not even a preview of what I'm working on. It is the holidays, though, so perhaps once I get over the shock realisation that I have a bountiful supply of time on my hands, I'll probably get something done. Including that prompt-response for Tierfal that I really should have finished half a year ago >.< But I do have...*waves arms maniacally* a little itunes-meme taken from Privee on DeviantArt. Not a very artful potrayal of my taste in music, but rather, an insight into those songs that have sat rusting in the corners of my iPod from lack of use ^^

**This is not a good representation of what my favourite songs currently are. When I first got my iPod, I had very few songs on it and it was awhile before I really started hunting for more music - so my playlist was limited, and these songs were the ones I listened to most. Now, I have a whole lot more, and I’m listening to a lot more, so even though I have some songs that I listen to a lot, I still spread it out a lot more, hence, my current fave.
