Hi, my name is Esther and I am a general music teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This summer I will be doing my Orff Level 1 certification and I'm really excited about it! I teach grades K, 1st and 2nd, it's an 80% gig but I think it's great. I have had some informal Orff ideas during my college education, and have observed Orff trained teachers

ever see "STOMP?" (it's about abunch of people that work together and create rhythms out of ordinary objects that are not usually thought of as musical, like basketballs or brooms) There is a video out, and it has been shown on HBO before; most people have heard of it. In my experience, 99% of all kids LOVE it ;) there are great ways to do stomp-esque lessons in the classroom, especially with older elementary
