New Layout

Eh, to those who ever wondered how I do everything, lol.
1) Primary sketch. I started with Revolutionary!England, actually and didn't think about adding the other England until I finished with him.
2) Clean lineart. I didn't bother using another layer for this one, since I usually end up messing the whole picture, haha. So I just redrew and cleaned up the primary sketch on the same layer.
3) Base colors. Self-explanatory. Also, the brown background just made coloring and whatnot easier for me, so I could spot things I missed and all.
4) Shadows/Highlights. For this picture, I used the marker in Paint Tool Sai and the color purple. I drew the shadows on a layer set on "Multiply." The only highlight I added was in the hair, and for that I just used the marker tool and a lighter color than the base.
5) Other effects/Background/Text. I always have difficulties with deciding the background. XDD My sister just suggested the Union Jack and so I went with that. This whole step was actually done in OpenCanvas, since Sai doesn't have Filters and things like that. It also has my livejournal link on it, since this was made just for my layout header.
