My 1st post in ages!!
Since I haven't posted in awhile and since people like Shae and Tim Goth get on my case for not updating as much as other people do, I think this is the right time for me to do so. It's weird because I read people's stuff, I just don't write things myself anymore...I know. I suck. But I think it's time to start again now that the semester's over. And what a CRAZY semester it has been...
This semester has been the best semester of college I have had so far!! Everything that has happened has been AMAZING. I've gotten to meet and become such good friends with people I didn't know before this semester and my friendships with people from the past semesters at IU I feel got stronger. I've even done some crazy things this semester that I've never done before...nothing illegal don't worry. But seriously, this semester has by far kicked the ass of all other ones.
I can't even begin to explain how much Marching Hundred has helped me during the semester. I've made so many good friends from it and marched in a band that has so much tradition and history to it. And what's crazy enough is I think the back to back track practice with marching hundred practice along with game day has helped out considerably in track. My times are faster than I was last year and I have more endurance than I ever have had in my life. That's one reason why I didn't try to complain too much at Hundred because I knew that any pain would help me in the long run. I mean who da thunk!? What's even crazier is that I have had the 2nd best semester academically here at IU. Even with everything going on too, which tells me I've got better time management skills than what I think. ;)
I'm just so glad it's finally break time. I've been ready for it to come since October! For the first week I really haven't done anything except for sleep in, practice track, and play video games. It's been such a nice relief because I feel like during the semester I don't ever have time to do all the fun things that I'm doing now. Or be lazy and just sleep in and not do anything for the whole day. It's a nice feeling....nice nice nice Now for Christmas time! That I can't wait for!! I'll definitely have a post about that :) Merry Christmas until then everyone.
