NO WHAT IS THIS, ALL MY IDOLS APPEARING TO MAKE COMMENTARY I feel a mixture of joy and the urge to go crawl in a hole and die. No, I legitimately screeched. Hello. I hope I haven't frightened you off with how awkward I am when presented with people I admire.

But thank you! I really have enjoyed dipping my toes into France's Mind Theatre™ as of late, because it really is an interesting and lovely place (and the decor is fantastic). It's especially interesting to write him from an AU perspective where I have to mentally justify his action and thoughts using a fabricated human background as opposed to French history. (I wonder if that statement made any sense...weh.)

And yes, poor whoever it was, though we can't always blame Francis because I'm certain that person has a way of being a bit overbearing. A lot overbearing. But well-meaning. I'm certain status quo will resume upon Francis' return to Paris. But that's not necessarily a good thing, is it...

(...I'm biased too. Love Is A Verb made me really really biased.)

Thank you so much for reading and commenting!

Haha, not frightened off, just very flattered to be admired!

I think you do it very well! And find myself fascinated by this AU you've created, and think you've created a great sense of place and character in such a succinct piece; one which makes me very intrigued about this iteration of Francis (and, of course, his relationship with the mysterious texter. I've toyed with writing a human AU for my guys for a long time, as I too think it would be a really interesting exercise to see if I could make sense of their various relationships without the weight of history behind them.

I imagine they can... Although I think, perhaps, they don't entirely recognise that about themselves (and it also may be reactionary, in some part). And, no, probabably not the best...

(Haha, I think it was largely writing that that made me so. Though I am planning writing a portion of it (along with some of their earlier history) from France's POV soon, so maybe my allegiances will shift a little accordingly afterwards though I suspect it will only be a very, very small shift, if that.)

Oh dear God, any continuation of LIAV would probably make me cry in joy. I rec that to everyone and their mothers and their grandmothers and so forth and so on into eternity. (This may or may not be a slight exaggeration on my part.)

I did write this only intending it to be a stand alone piece for practice, but now I also find myself toying with the idea of something longer. But it's difficult thinking up a love story plot that isn't cliché and stale. Any suggestions you have there would be fantastic, aha. I also might call on you for help with the...ahem...unnamed other person, since the one you write has largely occupied my brain and I adore him, if that's fine with you? I wouldn't wish to impose. (And thank you again for reading!♥)

Ahaha, thank you! It makes me incredibly happy to think you find it worthy of recommendation! I've been planning a companion piece for a long time (since I finished it, in fact), but during the process of writing my collab with nekoian and realising that not even Scotland knows yet why France made the decision he ultimately did, an exploration of his motivations was long overdue...

I will definitely give it some thought (though I'm afraid my ideas when it comes to Scotland/France generally boil down to 'a long stretch of angst and one-sided longing that eventually resolves in Scotland's favour because bias' whatever the setting may be). That's more than fine by me (and I'm very flattered again that you like him so much!); if you PM me with anything you'd like my thoughts on, I'll be happy to help in any way I can! (And it was my pleasure!)

I have this bad tendency to make evil hissing laughs of satisfaction whenever something new of yours appears on my flist page.

I was also considering doing some Northern Ireland-centric fic because the little brat has grown on me and I sort of adore him. I also maybe want to try out my own pairing with him, for experimentation...
