week 1 with the eg9
So I guess I'll be needing a new starter. Maybe spark plugs too but that isn't too bad. Trying to figure out why it hesitates at 2-3k RPM in first and second gear (is it the gears?). Don't really care though, just trying to get it to start reliably and run for now.
She ain't pretty. But it's okay. It'll get there.
Hopefully in a month I'll be rolling on LS meshies with some decent tires. Maybe coil-overs and an alignment. That'd be pretty sweet.
I really need to get new brake rotors though. Those things are scorched to shit... almost. They don't look too good though. Probably pwning the brake pads as we speak.
Hopefully I don't forget to add fluid to the power steering. Or gut it. That'd be sweet.
I really want the stock air intake and air box. Won't pass smog with the stupid intake on it now.
Needs a new shift linkage and most likely bushings too. Missing gears is a beezy.
Eventually I'll hook up the sound system. Already came with a deck, speakers and an amp. Needs wiring though. Not really rushing though. Starting to get used to the (somewhat) quiet drive.
Lovin' the window tint and headlight bulbs. The cat back is pretty dope too.
Eventually will clean out the engine bay. Wire tuck and all that cool stuff.
Need to fix the passenger seat bracket. Sketch!
Someday, fix the glove box.
Keep the passenger door broken ;)
Might go ahead and paint it myself. Should be fun prepping it and stuff.
