*Sigh* Daylight Savings Time occurs on Sunday...
....and I still haven't been able to make it up to the Japanese Garden in Portland. There is an absolutely gorgous lace leaf maple up there that I have been dying to shoot. It really peaked in color last weekend and I cannot make it this weekend. I hope there are leaves on it by mid next week as I may be able to take a day off to go play in the city.
I did get out and shoot a few fall scenes this year, though. I've just been terribly remiss in posting them. So now, without further ado.....
The fall color wasn't limited to the valley, either. We headed over the Cascades to Bend one Saturday and stopped to explore the site of the B & B Complex Fire. It seems that autumn has left it's mark on even the most devastated of landscapes.
Corvallis is alive in color right now. I need to get out there and get busy soon before the rain washes it all away.
Then, we wait for snow. :-)
