Three unrelated things
Those fake-news-story statuses on Facebook that are really just football fan taunts really annoy me. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're probably better off. And if you find them amusing, maybe you just have a better sense of humor than I do, I don't know. But I think I'm kind of losing interest in FB in general, now that I think about it. Because I only log in maybe twice a day now, instead of, like, 30 times :P

I'm already finished with the first week of my last semester as an undergrad! I have a feeling this semester is going to be really busy, but for now I'm excited about a lot of my classes. As per tradition, here's my course list...for the last time as an undergrad! (I love being able to say that):
American Lit 1865-1920
Intro to Language
Literary Criticism
Detective Novel (Honors)
Fiction Writing Seminar
Women's Chorale
Chamber Singers
The only class I'm not completely psyched for is American Lit, because I have a preference for British writers. But my professor for that is pretty awesome and a little crazy, and I think she's already freaked out a few of my classmates during her lecture on Whitman today, so it should be all good.

It is *freaking* cold outside! This afternoon I stopped at Target on my way home from school because I needed to pick up a few things. I think the temperature was around -2 at the time, and I don't even know what the windchill was. (Right now it is a brisk -15, btw.) And what was the first thing I noticed when I walked in? A swimsuit display. Really, Target?
