[title :]

I applied for a Tonya, which would fund my unpaid internship at the Advertiser this summer. I really have no idea what my chances are, but I think my letter was well written. I get the strange feeling that I've already typed this up somewhere. I'm having a real hard time getting in touch with the Advertiser, if anybody has any contact information for Robby Byrd, hook a brother up. I also missed an opportunity to apply to BusinessTennessee, which would be the same thing as the advertiser. The only advantage would be that it's in Nashville, so I'd have access to ... Nashville. The disadvantage is that I'd have to go all the way to Nashville. But it'd be the same type of work, so I'm not worried about it, and I'd get the same money from Tonya regardless (if I get any at all.)

Expect a rewrite for The Mardi Gras story because as it is, it's a piece of shit. However, I plan to be pretty detailed, so it may be a while. This may be my first endeavor into the world of story re-telling, a la Tucker Max; however, my story isn't nearly as outrageous and probably only funny to me. Also, that ship has sailed - to copy Tucker Max would be boring. However, I feel like I need to be writing creatively since creativity, along with physical fitness, seems to be leeching from me at an alarming pace. Attention to detail and a generally witty style is what I'm shooting for, I've decided. Somewhere between Tyler Durden and Douglas Adams. Write stories, run a little, start a band. Got it.

And yes, he says "You've got to roll on."

Edit: I have already typed about Tonya. But ... well ... fuck you.
