Pure Nerd
60 % Nerd, 26% Geek, 17% Dork

For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!

Kind of what I expected.

In other news, Sewanee is the same, but not at critical level (which changes with my mood). I think that I worried my mom so much that she call University Counseling Services. I have an appointment tommorrow at 11. The first one was useful, in a way, but didn't get to the core of my problems, I don't think. On the other hand, I don't know what the core is. I can self-analyze a lot quicker than someone else can. Who knows, maybe a truly objective viewpoint will be good for me.

OH! OH! OH! Katie's coming to Family Weekend. That has made my month. I think that I'll be able to get through September with that in mind. Then, after like 2 weeks is Fall Break. Can anyone say "I'm coming home?" So stoked.
