Aya's never been to the temple, but apparently it isn't a long way from the house, as he doesn't have to walk too far to run into Ran-chan as she's on her way.

He stops, almost calling her by that name, but closes his mouth before he says anything.

Ran sees him and smiles brightly. "Good morning, Oniichan! Isn't it a wonderful day?"

"Good morning." That smile is infectious. It always has been, even when it makes his heart ache to see it. "It is."

"I haven't see you in a while. How have you been?" Hugs?

If she wants to hug him, he won't stop her, but he's uncomfortable. Physical contact makes it worse but... He'd do anything for her, regardless of how much he really doesn't deserve her affection.

"I'm good, though Omi says Kritiker is thinking about sticking my team in a trailer to go tour. He's fighting it on the grounds that it wouldn't look proper, I think." Ran's pretty much one of the guys, except when it's very useful to be a girl.

He remembers the trailer. "You don't want to move, or is it because you would be stuck in a trailer with them?"

"Both. They're great guys, but fitting Yohji's clothes, Omi's computers and Ken's soccer gear into the trailer wouldn't leave space for people, let alone the flowers! And Niichan is in Tokyo. We don't mind taking business trips, but we want to have something that feels like a home."

Ran nods happily. "Niichan found the Nexus, but I found him before anything could happen. And now we can meet without Kritiker finding out."
