I'm here. I have new writing to add, new art to add, and new things to chat about. I hope there are still people here, but regardless, I'll be adding posts, and if that means I'm merely talking to myself, so be it. ;)

Of Memory and Truth
Everyone wants to live forever. They want to be remembered, long after they've shuffled off this mortal coil. The problem is that memory is fickle... even those people we think we'll never forget quickly turn to dust within our memories if they don't remain at the forefront of our minds. "I am true. My apologies. I've plenty of excuses (and good ones, too!) for not having been on in the past few months, but they all come off as miserably pathetic when I see them typed out. I've come up with some really interesting ideas for kids' books. I'm working on the text at the moment, and I have some idea as to what the illustrations will be, but I want to keep everyone in the dark (it's more comfortable there, anyway!) until I have them fleshed out a bit. I've been gone again for so very long. In answer to that inevitable question of why, my husband and I are in the process of adopting a baby. She'll be born in about three months, and we're working on all the legalities of the miracle. Christmas has come and gone. All of the rushing around, the mad panic to find the perfect gift for all of your friends, family, co-workers, random acquaintances, ad infinitum...
