I'M BACK. Stupid, stupid, fekking stupid illness has plagued me for the last few days, which has really put a downer on things. My stomach has been having a bitch of a crampfest and the long journey down to Wellywood didn't help it none, especially when I started having a shivering fit - haha wtf? This country is out to get me...
Anyway, I remained at Blue Duck Lodge for just about 10 days. My time there involved cutting off lamb tails... or actually just spraying them after the bastards sprayed me. Someone (a little more experienced in the art of lamb tail cutting) would burn off their tails - which would leave a villlllle smell - and I'd have the job of spraying there innocent little butts to stop the flies getting in. The spraying on their behalf was in the form of blood spluttering in my face - nice! Other than that I scabbed, injected and threw the little bliters to their new lives without tails. Whenever I see a lamb with a tail now... I get anger blotches. It was such a long and boring process - I'm sure you can imagine the amount of sheep in New Zealand!?! I did do an abundance of other odd jobs, but that's exactly what they were... just odd, so I see little point in listing them. I also had to stuff yet more unfamiliar food down my gullet... the one that caused me the biggest problem... LASAGNE YUCK YUCK YUCK! Never will it line my stomach again, never!
Currently, I'm in Wellington. It's cold and windy. I'm in a dorm room with a couple of Kiwi guys who are driving me insane slightly. They got in really late and kept turning the lights on, talking, texting, everyfekkingthing possible to wake an ill man from his recovery sleep. So this morn, while they were in bed nursing hangovers, I was making as much effort as possible to slam doors, rustle carrier bags and generally be a pain. :)
I'm thinking about heading off to the Museum of New Zealand (aka Te Papa) in a bit, when I'm brave enough to face the wind so I shall leave you there until next time. Wish me good health!
