isn't it funny how one thing can bring you the most joyous moments and in the same time the most depressing ones?

rhetorically speaking cause the answer is of course: no, it's not funny.

just a living proof that no matter how people (and by people I mean me) seem to change, they always keep something bad with them.

my parents had a chinese guy doing some yard work today. when he finished the job I payed him and thanked him. I tried to practice my chinese but he barely understood I was speaking chinese at all.
my tones are disastrous.

I have a class (19 century) which I'm sure is deliberately filled with the people who have the most annoying voices in the university. and god how they love to hear themselves speak.

oh and in the tradition of letting my studies go to hell, I'm considering giving up on my seminar due in 3 weeks and do another one next year instead.

today I've finally brought myself into starting to work on my paper about women in the nazi regime wich I'm supposed to hand in to neuman as soon as possible (the hand in date was originally two weeks ago). however the work does not progress well - the main article I rely on is written very badly so I have to re-read it over and over again to ( Read more... )

just to demonstrate how bad was last semester - after I broke my negative record by getting a 74 in "u.s.a. 1865-1945" course (in my defense I did the exam while my head spun around), I broke it again today by getting 69 in "early new era" (in my defense it was an unfair test by an unfair lecturer and I don't care anyway).

as much as I hate doing this I'll probably take one of my exams (east europe) only at march (moed bet) which is entirely my fault cause I just realized I have two-three books to read in three-four days - I had the whole week free till now and I didn't do anything.
I hate my laziness.
