Wedding Madness is beginning!!!!!
SO!!! I have had a lot of down time at work...
I've been searching a lot of DIY items for weddings
before I was a little worried and being turned off because of :
1. Not having enough money
2. A lot of barriers to having it on L's fathers land (with it being out in the middle of no where)
3. Just the lack of ideas..
but now!!! It's like a door has opened and Heaven's sunshine is beaming through it!!!
I have the perfect idea...
I moved where the altar will be on the pond
I'm putting it on the Pond House side and with the trees hanging over I can hang lanterns in them.
L's dad said he would build me anything I wanted... such a gracious person! So I have the same altar in mind
And then! I want to get red flats to go under my dress
which will match my color scheme perfectly!
Tracy showed me these gorgeous flowers (White Orchids) that will look awesome with my roses...
and have them tied with silver string
and then we may rent one tent to see if we can have it for the reception area
and hang lanterns in that... my dad can build a dance floor for us
then im getting a bucket with our monogram on it with flip flops in it so people can dance and not ruin their feet or shoes
then i want a bon fire.... i heart bon fires :)... so one of the party favors is to wrap a gram cracker, chocolate, and a marshmallow in clear wrap with our mono gram on it so everyone can have a smore :)
and then I want to wrap some of the tree trunks in christmas lights (saw this on a website and it looked brilliant) so it will
give off light as well as add more decoration
and then off the lanterns hang red and silver ribbon
then i saw how you can make these really awesome looking floating lanterns to put in the pond which will behind us (or in front if you're sitting in the chairs)
and then for the aisle you can get some bare tree branches and spraypaint them white, put them in cases ( I LOVE VASES) and put some ribbon around the vase so it looks phenomenal... and then put little rice lanterns (like the ones that will be floating) on the inside by the vases(so there wont be flowers there, which will save a lot)
.... i think thats what i have so far!!! pretty good to be 10-11 months away!
