*hahaha* Somebody else feels my pain:
Dosen't anyone have anything better to do then squabble over non sense? Seriously!
Could we not invest our energies in more worth while cause? Are there not greater
injustices going on in the world that we could focus our energies on, rather then throwing
a campaign to bring back some undergraduate course message board?... The discussion
board is gone for good reason, the end! The course is almost over let's write our papers,
finish our exam and go on with our lives! Frankly opening course mail to just have sift
through and read page after page of immaturity masked in prose is just tiring.
This morning, my BBBSO Mentoring kid wasn't at school, so I worked with a girl. We decorated flower pots and planted seeds. Then I kicked her butt in Crazy Eights. I am going to coach these kids into being Crazy Eights champions, though.
Tomorrow I have my Lichens presentation. It is worth 15%. My Powerpoint slides look amazing, but I can barely grasp the overall concept of my topic within the group: Lichen in Extreme Environments (Antarctica and the Negev Desert), Ecological Importance of Lichen (Caribou food and Lepidoptera larva food), and Applications of Lichens (Acid Rain and Air Pollution Indicators). Luckily, it's almost done.
By noon, I have that African-American Studies paper due, too. Haven't even started. It's worth 50% of my final mark! Length: 3000-3500 words (12-15 pp.): "Students will submit a critical assessment of one of the questions that has arisen from the course material. Essays will comprise well-researched and scholarly analyses of the issue under study." I am thinking African-Americans in Sport...
