(no subject)
Oh, goodness. I'd like to reiterate my post from (more than) a year ago. I still check LJ most everyday but I just haven't felt the urge to write anything. Let's see though...updates...
- Matt's in his second year of law school and doing fine. There have been some pretty rough patches but he's in the middle of finals right now and coping quite well.
- I've been employed as a video game tester for the past...seven months or so. It is not as fun as it sounds but I've actually met some people I like a lot while working there. It's also semi-amusing to work in a department that is 99% male. I never have to wait for a bathroom stall. <3
- I mentioned this in my last post, but I went to Thailand in October and November of 2009. It was an amazing experience. I made short jaunts to Beijing and Laos while "in the area" - Beijing was quite the experience even though I had begged for a sidetrip to Japan instead. Laos was wonderful because I saw my dad's hometown for the first time. Had one of the best meals of the trip there too.
- My most pressing issue right now is buying Christmas gifts for people. I worked November 1-25 without a single day off so I didn't have time to get a jump start on shopping early. The mall nearly drove me insane last weekend but I might have to make one last attempt this coming weekend.
- I totally need a haircut. And new shoes. And new clothes.
- I get two weeks off starting December 17 and I am so excited! Heading down to so cal to visit the folks. <3
