Okay, it took my long enough to gather my thoughts on Friday night's episode of BSG. We even re-watched it last night, just to try to soak it all in. And since I waited so long, someone managed to cap the episode (thank you phoenixothon) and share it so I am now going to attemp my first ever PICSPAM recap/review/random thoughts sort of thing ( Read more... )

You know... I've been thinking about this more... timeline-wise. The 13th colony was actually the first to leave Kobol. About 2000 years *before* the other colonists left. They supposedly left for earth because of the religious differences (one god vs multi) and were led by 5 priests (temple of five and all.) If the final five are indeed those five, then they are actually 4000+ years old and were on (and from?) Kobol. That's crazy! O_O; But I'm really curious about how everything went down. Since if earth went all explody with nukes about 2000 years ago that would be approximately around the same time the other 12 colonies went off to settle other planets and leave Kobol. Other planets that they named after constellations that could be seen from Earth and given flags that bear the stars of said constellations as seen from Earth ( ... )

Oh, by the way, I believe the webisodes (although they aired before this episode) chronologically happened between "Sometimes A Great Notion" and "A Disquiet Follows My Soul".

edit to get the title right =P lol
