Pinkie Pie and I both tested positive for ENFP

We watched the newest episode of SHIELD last night and I was...underwhelmed. There was a lot of flash, bang, boom but I'm just not feeling as pulled in as I want to be. I think I might let these pile up on Hulu for a bit like I did last season and maybe marathon them later. Unless the internet explodes like it did at the end of last season, forcing ( Read more... )

I feel like it takes a while for shows to get off the ground when they start back up. Plus, with S.H.I.E.L.D., there was a huge chunk we missed.

I almost feel like SHIELD is better when marathoned because the story is even more arc heavy than usual. I dunno, I want to love it so bad, being that it's a Whedon Family Venture. But I think it might be something I save for my mornings off rather than setting aside tv time with Tim.

Yeah, I think Linda and I could totally hang out, on a weird level. Our love of showtunes. And burgers. hehe.

I think that ep was set up to...well set stuff up. I'm hoping as those questions start to get answered it will pick up again. I did find Lucy was a bit of a waste. Maybe she couldn't commit to more episodes so they had to write her in and out. It is an interesting way to bring in her partner though. He is going to have a lot of emotional baggage and perhaps resentment at Coulson for his orders too. I still think Ward is a douche but it seems they are doing interesting things with his character. Brett's acting was stellar. And omg Fitz. Don't. Fiiiiitz

When I tune in again, it will be for the Fitz storyline and to see what they play to do with Ward.

I guess so many people were raving about this episode, I felt a little let down.

Yeah, it definitely takes a while for shows to get off the ground once they start up again.

Very true, season premiere's are notoriously bad. I won't give up on SHIELD entirely but I probably won't rush home on Wednesday to watch it.
