some rare books came in today.
it was a privilege to be able to read them, and a pleasure.
i hate not being able to touch books with my hands though, it just makes handling more unwieldy if i can't feel and weigh what i'm reading.
i generally don't like to answer when people ask:
favorite ___?
But my favorite poet, time and again, is T.S. Eliot
the composition, the themes, and the unique style he has..
wholly eliot.
he drives me quite wild :)
"there would be no dance, and there is only the dance.
I can only say, there we have been: but I cannot say where.
And I cannot say, how long, for that is to place it in time."
- burnt norton, verse II - T.S. eliot
literature,
food for thought
