For our video project, we had a scene with this "hipster" know it all painting student. Naturally, I got cast in the role. Last night, I assembled my costume and after being so pleased with the results, I decided I would go to the doctor's and to school with the getup.

My mother was exasperated at me and my silliness, but I'm used to it.

This late morning, I took the bus to go to school. When I got to the metro, I waited patiently and then I heard the usual "du, du, du, du" to signal there was a problem. There was a problem with the communication boards and the service would be back up at 12:18pm. It was 12:10, so it wasn't too bad. All the four lines were down!

Today marks 10 years since I was introduced to Back to the Future. The movie that started it all for me. Wow - look at where it brought me.
