When we were younger we would pray for this give our hearts for a love we can't resist

&they may just return with more wealth than ever

For something that was said:

When I was five, I had a little rubber ball. You know, the kind that fits in your palm, you can roll it around, and when it falls on the floor it kinda just bounces around indefinitely? Yeah, I had one. They came in all colors, red and yellow, black and white. Mine was a nondescript, depressing gray.

But it was my everything, and I treasured it with all my heart, because you gave it to me.

When I was seven, it fell out of my palm on a rollercoaster ride at the theme park. Their excited shrieks drowned out my cry, and in despair, I watched my rubber ball fall, bounce, bounce and bounce away. No amount of cotton candy could heal this broken heart of mine, and I searched and searched.

I stood in the center of the festivity in a puddle of water and bawled my heart out. The ridiculous sight of a little boy who looked like he had cried an ocean at his feet was forgotten to thrill-seekers, the mischievous children (and their irate parents), the lovers, and the homeless sleeping on the benches.

A rainbow bounced its way into my puddle, catching my attention. I picked up my rubber ball.

God knows how many colored puddles there are in a theme park.

You have brought color into my life ♥

I will cherish you forever.

you, thoughts
