I get no respect even from the mouths I feed.

These are some of my little ones:

Nickie

Pig (being pa-cute behind my laptop)

There are three more but I don't have decent pictures of them since they are always running around and it's so hard to take pics of frisky dogs. :) So anyway, I love them so much and I treat them as if they were my children. But like all parents go through, they are rebelling to me now (I think).

Yet another proof that my dogs make a mockery out of my profession: Everytime I am on the phone, doing business with an important person, they decide it is the best time to bark loudly and aimlessly, like there is no tomorrow. Yes, all of five of them. It humiliates me to no end and sends me into a panic so I run away from them. It doesn't help though because they just run after me. Picture me on the phone trying to sound professional and decent, but running around the house with the dogs at my heels barking as if I were in a marathon and they are my personal cheering squad. I tried locking myself in rooms but they just stand outside the door --- barking even louder, howling, and scratching at the door.

You'd think they like to do that each time the phone rings, but no. When I yak away with friends and family they are quiet and never make a sound. But the moment I make or take calls about work, they start the ruckus. Talaga naman.
