Post Birthday
Last Saturday, I had late lunch with Anpet whom I missed so much:

I still like Via Mare but the food doesn't seem so good anymore. We have such low EQ we didn't remember to take pics of the food. She had spicy tuyo, mine was Arroz a la Cubana, and we shared palitaw for dessert. Also, since Anpet needed her cigarette fix, I agreed to sit outside and when you're outside it's so hard to call the attention of the waiters. So annoying I had to keep getting up and going to the front door to call them. Hay naku! It'll be a long time before I eat there again. I actually only suggested eating at Via because it is nearest the drop-off point and Jutan was coming by to pick me up in a couple of hours. But I'm glad to see Anpet and will see her again this week because she forgot to bring my ube jam from Baguio, which was the central point of the meet-up anyway. :)
Jutan came by at 3PM to get me and we had to run so many errands and also hung out at her house. I played with her Pomeranians Gio and Bonbon to while away the time. I didn't take pictures because they were filthy hehe. But they are cute and are always so happy to see me, especially Bonbon. :) Around 5pm, we left her house to drop her Mom off at the airport then headed to Makati for Jacq's surprise party! :)

The party was at the Precious Moments showroom in Makati. Even if we came in ahead of time, there was plenty to keep us busy. Look at this cute little guy from the Noah's Ark collection:
So cute I wanted to bring him home but I didn't know Precious Moments porcelain figurines were so costly! And come to think of it, I can NEVER get the hang of collecting breakable things that I will have to dust regularly. When I buy my own house, there will be no small knick-knacks on display that will need dusting and rearranging. How tedious! So bye-bye turtle!
Party was great! I myself was lucky to be given a suprise party by all of my friends last year on my birthday and it was just as great to give one to someone else :) I can't forget the look on Jacq's face when she saw me and Jutan! :) Will post pics when I get it from Allan's camera.
Had a great time even if we got lost for 30 minutes because we couldn't find our way back to EDSA. To top that, it was a rainy night and we didn't realize we had been driving for half an hour with our headlights off. Whooops... tee-hee. :)
