Dearest flist, we start anew for 2008. Happy New Year ! What I'd really like, by way of celebration, is to know you better, man.
If you've friended me recently (and some of you very recently- great scott !) please leave a comment with an introduction- nothing formal, just a factoid about yourself or a quote you like or a favorite episode of a shared favorite show- whatever ! Maybe a rec to a fic you like or a fic you wrote, or a webcomic or a youtube video with pandas fighting. Seriously, whatever. No pressure, just fun. I'm eager to know you.

And my husband just played The National for me like two days ago, and I'm totally hooked. Dark and moody, but always sharply so, rather than melodramatic. Their music is here: http://www.americanmary.com/music/
