LotS 2x20 "Eternity"
Can anyone find my jaw? I dropped it on the floor sometime during this episode.
Cara... oh, Cara! The layers of your character are deeper and more phenomenal than I could have imagined. Okay, so you were the sweetest, innocent little girl, kidnapped and made into a hard killer. That sucks. BUT WAIT. You were knocked up by Darken Rahl and he killed your son when he was born. OH DEAR GOD. I'm a little blown away.
But let's get to that kiss, aye? Mmm, mmm, MMM! Watching Tabrett Bethell just strut down that stone hallways and own that kiss with Dahlia. She's so fierce! And her tongue! She went for that kiss and there wasn't a single one of my roommates that didn't say, "Oh my god that was hot."
And betrayal! And people who smile too much! And rings and couples we don't give a shit about! Super dildos!
As for Cara playing the double-agent (triple? quadruple? Where are we at this point?) I'm torn between where I want it to go. Maybe Darken Rahl really did re-break Cara and it'll be a showdown where Cara battles with feelings and Kahlan is holding her real tight and staring deeply into her eyes (and we won't forget that Cara definitely likes the ladybits and it's cosmically impossible for anyone to not be attracted to Kahlan. Therefore.) and Cara will changes sides again because apparently this show actually teeters on the edge of Cara's character more often than anyone else's) and they'll defeat Darken Rahl. Wow. After going through that, my second idea kinda pales. I'll just stick with crossing my fingers for this one. :D
EDIT: Kind-of-kinda-not related. Upon re-watching the episode, I've decided that whoever plays Dahlia should've been Denna. Looks-wise from the books, not that I'd change the characters (though I kinda would because Denna was ridiculously awesome in the books).
EDIT-EDIT: Okay, I've literally lost count of how many times I've watched the Cara scenes in this episode. I should be doing things like homework and writing, but re-watching her scenes is just so satisfying.
