Wallpaper + Random Rants
Hey shiny people! How is everyone? I thought it was time to break the silence and try to get back from this kind of-hiatus. You may have noticed that I deleted all of my entries. I needed to start over, I didn't like what I was doing with my game anymore - even though I haven't been playing much because of lack of inspiration, boredom, real life shit etc. I don't want to write about my RL here, but I'm linking you again to my Facebook profile - you are welcome to add me if you'd like to keep in contact outside of The Sims, or if you just want your FB home to be clogged by my nonsense-rants.
Moving on. I made some stuff. Oh no, wait. Before I made some stuff, I actually had a sudden urge to open Photoshop and pick 20 colours, all those colours that no-one likes except me. I called them The Retro Colours. Because no-one would ever want to cover their walls with some brownish-olive paper - unless you are in the 70s. I wish I was born 40 years ago, when you could actually have your living room walls painted in the same colour of vomit - and no-one would complain about that. Those were good times. I still can see people intentionally choosing the crappiest colours for their wallpaper. They knew that that no-one would ever dare to point out that those hues could seriously cause anxiety and nausea...
So, I actually made these for personal use. My retro-obsession was back, and somehow I really missed some plain, crappy paper in my game. Odd, I know. Anyway, I thought I'd upload them anyway, maybe someone will like them, too. Also because they I think they look good with all those crappy Maxis carpets. Now you can use them. Yay. Ok, I think I'll stop here.

Also, I've made a new neighborhood (yes, another one), named Norwood - after... Norwood, the 'hood that saldy imploded some months ago. I think I'll be starting some "Building Norwood" challenge soon, I'm currently bringing up some "official" rules. Rules-and-plans-and-first-update-megapost is coming soon. And maybe I'll also find some other uses for the vomit Retro Colours. Thou hast been warned.
