I don't know if it was the uncut whole wheat flour, the baking blend Splenda substitute or perhaps the no trans-fat butter substitute but the cookie pies went bye-bye...into the trash.
Whole wheat flour added a nutty taste that wasn't unpleasant so much as unexpected, but the overall cookie was too cake-y, and not just because the individual cookies merged into one mass per baking sheet.
